- People less than 18 years of age are prohibited from participating in the raffle.
- Only 1000 tickets will be printed for the raffle.
- The raffle drawing will be held on February 21, 2026, during the evening session.
- The drawing will be held without regard to the number of tickets sold.
- No symposium registration or purchase of items for sale is required to acquire a raffle ticket, it is suggested that a donation of $10 or more be made for each ticket.
- Each ticket has 2 numbered parts; the entrant must fill in their name, a phone number where they can be reached on Feb 21, 2026 and their email address. This half of the ticket will remain with the FWS representative offering the ticket; the entrant will be given the other half of the numbered ticket as proof of entry into the raffle. The entrant should keep this half of the ticket should any questions arise as to the validity of the winning entrant.
- Items, as a minimum, available for winning as part of this raffle are as follows:
a) JET 12/21 LATHE – Jet 12″ x 21″ Variable-Speed Woodworking Lathe, 1 HP, 115V 1Ph (Model JWL-1221VS)
b) AIR COMPRESSOR – California Air Tools 8010A Ultra Quiet 1.0 Hp, Oil-Free, Lightweight Aluminum 8-Gallon Air Compressor
c) RAZORTIP WOODBURNING KIT – Double w/ 2 Create A Pen handpieces and 15 interchangeable bits

- Winners for these raffle items will be selected by randomly drawing from the set of all ticket stubs submitted, one ticket for each item listed. When a ticket is selected for an item, e.g. Jet Lathe, the winner will be announced. That winning ticket will then be set aside and will not be eligible for any additional items. Then another ticket will be drawn from the remaining set of tickets for the next item to be raffled off. This process will continue until all available items have been awarded.
- The entrant need not be present at the time of the drawing to win.
- The winning entrant(s), if not present at the time of the drawing, will be notified by the phone number listed on the ticket following the drawing for the items.
- If the winner of an item is not present, the FWS committee will be responsible for delivering the item to the winner
- If the winner declines to take the item upon notification of winning, additional tickets will be drawn until a winner agrees to take the prize.
